Reverend Custodiers

My babies. Lovely hackers. they are reverends and hackers at the same time. Models are showing their age. I would prefer better minis for them and for the kusanagi. They dont look nice ,when you put near to the beautiful reverend healer on the table.

We have ava 3 on reverend hackers. taking 2 is a possible idea, since they can make haris and have 2 hacker variants already. lets start with the stats.

move 4-2, cc14, bs12, ph11, wip14, arm3, bts3

Custodiers are slow but all other stats are nice, especially on an unit that can synergy with her other abilities there.

Main thing custodiers have is ODD. this is brillant. religious ( no way back ) and fireteam haris.

All options of custodiers are hacking device plus type. This allows you to make cybermask and become a marker. ( we will come to here later. ) and msv visors canceling by the program "white noise".

through repeaters ( believe me, you have many in bakunin.) you can use white noise on your attackers to kill msv troops or use them like smoke against msv troops.

Reverend custodiers bring 2 weapons. boarding shotgun and combi rifle. combi rifles are combined with a pitcher, which is a nice element for your attacking tactics.

Custodier can kill things in close range and hide from long range troops with hacking abilities.

in a fireteam haris especially, thinking that she has odd and a boarding shotgun in close range on such a troop is awesome. bs18 3 burst against -6 mod 1 burst, yes please.

As a solo unit, she is also fine. she can buff the rems, can kill the things in cybermask! Yes she can do it. she can get in cybermask state with a succesful wip check. She can attack in cybermask state, suprise shot on an opponent. odd (-6) + cover (-3) + suprise shot (-3), you have a lovely -12 mod to give on opponent.

She can be a liuetenant. Thats handy on a good hacker. you can use it to cybermask for free or to buss your rems. Also there is no extra swc cost for that.

icebreaker on assault hackers is strong against high bts opponents. There is Neema with bts 9. sorry you wont care that high bts. Avatar and others that have high bts have to suffer this 2 burst attack against 12 dmg without any positive modifier.

Reverend custodier is a toolbox unit. There are many things you can do with her and you will be noticing more as much as you play with her.

Think about fireteam haris. You can take a reverend healer and kusanagi to form the haris. this provides you a totally specialist, destroyer link with other things to do.

This haris is really strong.

there are some oversight synergies in this haris. Look at the e/m grenades kusanagi has. get closer with haris, use spotlight from the custodier and send those e/m ammo to its' target with ease. ph 13 kusanagi + 3 from range + 3 from spotlight gives you a deadly weapon against the tags or any other high infantries.
